Kids to Parks
Our Kids to Parks program, which brings local students to Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie, is at risk due to a lack of funding. Without support, we will not be able to continue providing these life-changing experiences for area youth.
For many of these under-resourced students, Kids to Parks is their first-ever visit to a national park. For some, the boat ride to Fort Sumter is their first time on the water—an unforgettable moment that connects them to history in a way no classroom ever could. For others, it’s a first trip to the beach at Fort Moultrie. These trips ignite curiosity, foster a love of learning, and create lasting memories. But we need your help to keep them going.
Your tax-deductible gift will provide transportation, boat access, and educational programming that make these trips possible. Every donation helps ensure that students continue to experience these incredible parks firsthand.

Cannon Conservation and Preservation
The cannons at Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie have stood as silent sentinels of history for centuries—but without proper conservation, time and the elements will take their toll. These irreplaceable artifacts are at risk of deterioration, and without action, their legacy could fade.
Your donation directly supports the preservation of these historic cannons, funding expert conservation efforts to protect them from further decay. With your help, we can ensure they remain a powerful part of our nation’s story for generations to come.

B.A.R.K. Rangers
Does your pup have what it takes to be a B.A.R.K. Ranger? At Fort Moultrie, we’re welcoming four-legged visitors into a special program that promotes responsible pet ownership while protecting the wildlife and landscapes we all love.

Your support helps keep this program running, ensuring that pets and national parks can coexist harmoniously. Donate today to help us continue welcoming furry rangers to Fort Moultrie!

Artist in Park
The Artist in Park program at Fort Moultrie invites talented artists to create on-site, capturing the park’s breathtaking landscapes and rich history in real time. Visitors can watch as these artists transform canvas and paper into stunning reflections of Fort Moultrie’s past and present, deepening connections to the park’s heritage.
With your support, we can continue to bring artists into the park, inspiring appreciation for its unique surroundings and preserving its beauty through creative expression.
